Instructions for Using The
2 Minute Christian Opinion Poll
Before you knock on the door
write down the Address, Date, and Worker
You will not need the name or
phone number unless you are going to do a follow-up or Prayer Request.
Approach the people something
like this.
Hand them the Church Brochure.
"Hello I am (your name)
with (church name) and we are doing
a very brief two minute Christian Opinion Poll.
We are interested in your opinion on a few
questions."
Then proceed with the survey.
"What is your opinion about God, Do you believe in God?"
"What is your opinion about the Bible, Do
you believe the Bible is God's Word? .. etc.."
When you get down to the last question, no matter
what their answer is proceed something like this.
To have a personal relationship with God, You
must first understand..."
Proceed From Here Where God leads.
Before you leave, let them know that your church has a very powerful prayer ministry, and ask them if they have a prayer request for them self, family or friend.
If they do write it down and then get their name.
Present these request to your church and send
them a letter and let them know you appreciate them participating in the
Opinion poll, and do a follow up in 2-4 weeks to see how they are
doing.
Be sure to check all the appropriate boxes at the
bottom of the survey for future information.
If a follow up is needed, be sure to include
information on the A Special Note space.
I have not included everything in this brief
summery.
Some Things That Are Very Important to Remember:
You need a Church Track or Brochure to leave at every door.
Pray, Pray, and Pray more for God to open the doors and lead you.
Remember you are an uninvited guest.
You have no ideal what may have happened just before you knocked on their door.
They can be rude but you will return kindness.
You want to leave them with a good experience no matter what they say to
you.
Do not debate scriptures. That is not why you are there.
You may win the debate and lose the soul.
Lost people do not have the understanding that you have, and most people you talk to will be lost.
I try not to get into doctrine. I tell them I will come back and talk to them.
Do not be pushy.
